What happens if my child is ill?

Please do let us know if your child is unable to attend their scheduled session as soon as possible on the day. 

It is unavoidable that children catch all kinds of minor infections.

For a speedy recovery and to prevent the other children from falling ill, children who are unwell must please stay at home.

After sickness or diarrhoea, we ask parents to keep children home for 48 hours following the last episode.

In normal circumstances, only when a fever has subsided for a whole day should you return your child to the preschool.

Where children have been prescribed antibiotics for an infectious illness or complaint, we ask parents to keep them at home for 48 hours before returning to the setting.
